Put more directly- DO NOT BOOK THE HOUDINI. While I am happy overall about our wedding hosted at the Houdini, I would strongly caution ALL people from booking an event there. His wife, Bess, hosted glamorous parties and events at the property after his death and continued to maintain the estate and its breathtaking gardens. This mysterious retreat allowed the iconic Harry Houdini to practice his wondrous tricks and illusions in total secrecy. This majestic venue was originally built during the Edwardian period in the 1900s. Food trucks up to 16 feet long are welcome. Your caterers can use our kitchen - four burners and an oven. Soon-to-be-weds have the freedom to avail of their own preferred caterers, musicians, and event rentals, ensuring that their occasion reflects their true essence. They will get to know each couple on a personal level, working to secure their trust and comfort from the first consultation. The experienced event team at The Houdini Estate can also assist you in the design and execution of your big day. In addition, full-wheelchair access is provided. With ample parking spaces available on-site as well as shuttle and valet options for larger events, your guests can access this estate with ease.
